French WIP +6

So these are the next spearman comming fresh from my workbench. Those are called low countries spearman in FoG, meanig that they are armored, drilled and offensive spearman. Unluckily I didn't manage yet to put on some paint to fight the gloss they still have, which is going to be done if the whole unit got painted. The units schield desings are kind of historically accurate, meaning that this heraldry really existed by a lokal Flandern family.
Their family motto is kind of cool as well - I am going to translate it for you:
"Seul contre tous" meaning "Allone agianst the rest". I like the motto and hope that they are going to fight that way on the battlefield.
If you like them please tell me in the comments.

The first battle-group of defensive spearman got nearly finished, only the basing has to be done in the future. I really like the shield designs and hope that you do so as well. If so, please write me a comment.

Happy new Year!

Dear Community!

Unluckily I missed postig something since my last post in mh.... I don't know when it was.
But, what a luck, I'm back now in 2012 with new stuff to come.
This weekend I painted 2 Bases Feudal French Knights for my next Field of Glory Army: Feudal French. These guys have everything the FoG player needs: heavily Amored Knights, Defensive and Offensive Spearman, Crossbows and, and, and.....

But now the lovely pictures of my work:

Ps: Yes I finished my Bactrian Army and already played my first Tournament with them, which was the glorious Neujahrstunier in Koblez.
