first Hussar of the 4th regiment

Yesterdy, I finished the first man of the 4th french Hussar Regiment. Naturally, I won't keep it back from you, and so here it is. The miniature is an 1:72 Hussar from Esci, which in fact is produced as a british Hussar, but because the uniforms are nearly equal, I'm going to use 'em as french men for my "Grande Armée". Hope you'll like him.

New cheap Napoleonic riders arrived

Today I bought about 50 1:72 Napoleonic riders made by Esci. They'll get painted in style of the 4th french Hussar regiment, which was created in 1776, and fought at Gross Beeren and Leipzig in 1814 and at Lingny and Waterloo in 1815.

!.72 Napoleonic Riders

Today I finished the base of these 4 Napoleonic Riders- but one is already shot up from his horse... Hope you like 'em ;)

1:72 WW 2 Geman Panzergreandiere ready

Heavy Machine Guns the command group and. last but not least, the gunner group Today I finished my Revell German panzergrenadiere, so that this group is ready for battle now. Unfortunalety the pictures are not that great - it semms I should take some new ones. I hpo you like 'em

1:72 Italeri Pak 40

Today it was possible to me tot ake a pic of my Italery Pak 40 for all the 1:72 fans reading my blog. Hope you like it, the gunners are going to get painted anothe time, cause I got to many projects at the moment... The two rings arrounf the gun shall show that they already shot up two enemy tanks - I don't know wether this and the cross on the shield is historicaly allright, maybe you can tell me.

1:72 German soldier

I've had to much time, so I finished a German WW2 soldier from the Pegasus German Mortar set - I hope you'll like him. Cheers, daBosz

Last Post 2010

And now for our English Firends: I wish all my readers, and naturally those, who want to become so, a Happy New Year! Because I finished my entry for the Behind Omaha painting contest, I decidet to show the miniaturewith which I wanted to win this contest first. Hope you'll like him !

WW2 Tank III in progress

WW2 Tank III in progress

Danach wir das gesamte Modell mir stark verdünnter Revell Farbe Lederbraun gewasht: and now for our english friends: After Priming the tank white the foundation I applyd Revell Afrikabrown in two layers. After that, the modell was wahes in Revell Lederbaraun.

German Tank III

And now for our english friends: Luckily my Panzer III from Hannover arrived. These are some Fast assembly kits fom Italeri. I am surprised about the specifics, which are much better than the details of another Panzer III bought from Revell. Only the cahins are worse, but in my oppinion, this is not the worst.

WW2 German Camoflage

And now for our English friends: My german arms for Behind Omaha is in progress, too. The shown doubble S man is fitted with a german autumn camouflage. I think I'm gonig to take part with a Miniature in this style in the BO painting challenge.

1:72 Napoleonic British Line

And now for our English friends: As I found some 1:72 Britains in my Miniature Box, and because I had nothing to do, I thought to build up a little Britan Army for any wargame. This is the first Base ( 4,5 to 9 cm). I think the painting is not as bad. Thanks to the Taunussteiner for the Pictures ach ja: A little feedback please ;)

WW2 StuGIII and Bike

Das Italeri Motorad der Feldgenamerie ist nun auch bereit zum Einsatz. and now for our english friends: Here are some new models for my german Behind Omaha army. I tried to paint the Stug III with my new airbrush, and for the first try, it doesn't look as bad.

WW2 Panzer/ WW2 tank
