Happy new Year!

Dear Community! Unluckily I missed postig something since my last post in mh.... I don't know when it was. But, what a luck, I'm back now in 2012 with new stuff to come. This weekend I painted 2 Bases Feudal French Knights for my next Field of Glory Army: Feudal French. These guys have everything the FoG player needs: heavily Amored Knights, Defensive and Offensive Spearman, Crossbows and, and, and..... But now the lovely pictures of my work: Ps: Yes I finished my Bactrian Army and already played my first Tournament with them, which was the glorious Neujahrstunier in Koblez.

Graeco Baktrian FoG Army is getting started

Hey There! A new Army is getting started - as if I hadn't have to many projects, I bougt a Greaco Baktrian FoG Army at the "Komicon" in Koblenz two weeks ago. Because of the enormius mass of miniatures, it wasn't the goal to paint an excellent army, it shall only look nice standing on the battlefield. Thats why there was so much painted in these two weeks. Above you may see a part of the Indian part of that army, these spearman are going to give rear support for my 3 units of pikes. Below, you can see the cretan achers wich, supperior as they are, are going to go on my opponents nerves. All miniatures are produced by museum miniatures, and unluckily they all have only one pose. So keep on watching my blog cause there is much more stuff waiting to be seen !

New Swat team is getting started

Macedonic Pikes Wip +2

After long time of silence,it was possible to me to go onpainting my Macedonic army for DBA. Hope, you'll like 'em....

Canvas eagles ready for battle

I just finished the first two aircrafts for Canvas Eagles., A Fokker III and a Sopwith camel, both produced by Heroics and Ros . The battle my also arrived , as visible in the picture . For the bases I used acrylic glass, cutted into hexes.

Canvas Eagles arrived

Yetserday my 6mm WW1 Aircraft models produced by Heroics and Ros arrived. It's not verry funny to glue them together, because the secondary glue glues everything , though the parts it should. I hope the poster bought at the drugstore withe the hex field on is already printed, so that the first air fights may start....

Macedonic Elephant WIP +1

Yesterday worked out this great Macedonic Elephant produced by outpost wargames. Only the Mahouts' spaer and the base are not finished yet, but its right on the way to be done .

Macedonic Pikes WIP+1

Today I was able to wash these Macedonic Pikesman produced by outpost wargames, so you can see the detail much better than on te pictures bevore. The gloss appeared because the wash had no time to dry when I took the picture. These 4 poses appear in the Mac2 Pack, which contains 8 miniatures.

15mm Outpost Wargames Mac2 review

Yesterday my Macedonian DBA army II/15 arrived. On the pictures you can see two of the Mac2 pacs produced by outpost wargames. The miniatures are highly detailed casted, but their pikes are looking like trunks carried arround. You'll see further more pictures if they are washed, so you can see the detail much better.

15mm Roman Camp

Hi folk, as I saw this little nice miniature colosseum at a souvenir shop in Rome for just 1€ I bought it instanly. I painted up the guys in the front- they are cruel sculpted but almost excactly in 15mm scale. More photos forthcoming with my new err Western Late Roman Army...

first Hussar of the 4th regiment

Yesterdy, I finished the first man of the 4th french Hussar Regiment. Naturally, I won't keep it back from you, and so here it is. The miniature is an 1:72 Hussar from Esci, which in fact is produced as a british Hussar, but because the uniforms are nearly equal, I'm going to use 'em as french men for my "Grande Armée". Hope you'll like him.

New cheap Napoleonic riders arrived

Today I bought about 50 1:72 Napoleonic riders made by Esci. They'll get painted in style of the 4th french Hussar regiment, which was created in 1776, and fought at Gross Beeren and Leipzig in 1814 and at Lingny and Waterloo in 1815.

Next 1:72 Napoleonic rider restored

Today I restored the next Napoleonic rider. I hope you like him. Cheers, DaBosz
